The Signal Box
Behind the lines, someone watches the signals. This page says what that someone can see of you, and what for.
What is on record
- Your token holds an email, a password (stored scrambled), the first name you chose, your birthday and gender, plus any free text on your season pass.
- Your rides, and what each woman has jotted about you; that is how she knows you again.
- One cookie keeps you signed in; another notes that you cleared the fare gate.
- Payment stubs: an amount and a transaction reference. Cards never reach us since none are taken.
- Standard server logs, held briefly for security.
What it is used for
To run conversations, enforce the fare rules and keep the trains moving. Your messages are handled by a language model, which we operate or which a vendor operates for this task alone, and automatic screens read them for safety. Your rides have no buyer and no advertiser sees one.
Counting passengers
A plain counter notes how many people came through the gates and roughly their origin. Chats are out of its sight.
What you control
Inside a chat you may amend her notes, keep a transcript of the ride, or delete it. To erase your whole token, write to the signal cab from its address. Rights beyond these that your local law grants are honoured too; just ask.
